It is the first Aid Box in which the equipments used to give first aid (Scissor, cotton, bandage, antiseptic, handyplast, etc.) are kept.

What is CCTV Camera?

• It is an equipment/system used by Security Guards to watch various places of the jobsite at once.
• Its full form is Closed Circuit Telivision.
• We can watch visuals of various places having CCTV Cameras planted there in a screen at once.
• We can even replay and save the visuals for future use as per requirement.

How do you perform in main door/ access point of a place?

• Encourage visitors to be in line/queue if there are too many visitors.
• Ask one by one for permission to search body.
• Then take visitor record to in log book with visitors name, address, octact no. purpose of visit.

What if a Visitor does not allow searching his/her body?

• Politely tell the visitors that you have to search his/her body before allowing him/her go on.
• If he/she still refuses, tell him/her, 'sorry, I cannot let you go beyond this place.'

What if you find a weapon or an illegal item in the visitor's pocket?

• Tell the visitors politely, but firmly, 'Sorry, you are not allowed to visit beyond this place.'
• If he/she insists or threatens you, tell him/her about the rule that does not allow him/her to go inside with a weapon.
• Immediately inform the control room if the visitor ignores your effort to convince.
• If the person is likely to harm you, ask control room for assistance.
• Note about this event in your notebook.

How do you deal with and unknown Vistors?

• Before he/she passes by, you will go near and ask, Excuse me Sir/Ma'am, How can I help you?
• After the visitors tells about the reason of coming, ask him/her for permission to search the body.If no any wanted thing found while checking body, take his/her complete information in log book.
• Show him/her the way to go to the desired location.

How to prepare a report in your notebook?

During your duty, preparing report of a happening/ event/ accident is a very important task. You need to follow the below procedure to prepare a note/ report:

• First, write date and time of the event.
• Write the location of the spot where this event has happend.
• Describe what happened, nature of the happening, and damage occured.
• Write about the people involved, or their appearance and activities.
• Write about your reporting to Security In-charge/Control Room an the instruction you received from them.
• write you what did thereafter.

What will you do if you see a suspicious person, or and activity while patrolling?

• You will immediately contact to control Room.
• Then you will inform about the place, the person, his apperance, facial expression, type of gun, and what he is doing and where he is going. Note down about the person, time and place in your notebook.
• You will wait for any order from control room to you, and keep watching the behavior and activities of the person. Write about your conversation with control room in your notebook.
• If the person is likely to harm you, ask control room for assistance.

What are the qualities of a professional Guard?

• Neat and clean
• Smart looking and having attractive personality
• Well dressed
• Firm and erect 
• Polite, but straight
• Punctual to their duty and orders by supervisors

What is Patrolling?

Patrolling means moving around the area you are guarding and check if any unwanted thing is happening there.

What are the 3 things a Guard shorld protect?

1st. People:
They can be different kind of people depending upon the place your are guarding. The can be: 
a. Staffs and visitors, if you guarding an office.
b. Workers, if it is factory.
c. Customers, buyers and salesmen, if it is shopping mall.
d. Students, teachers and staffs if you are at school.

2nd. Property:
Buildings, Vehicles, furniture, machineries,  equipments, ornaments, cash, etc.

3rd. Information:
Things in which information, records, data are kept (book, file, paper, CD/DVD, hard disk, computer, memory card, etc.).

What is a Security Guard?
